Magic is an extremely powerful force; the manipulation
of which is carefully studied, frequently learned, but it is never fully
mastered. Enchantments exude an aura that can be sensed by many, but years
of training are required to properly exploit the Mana that pervades our
world.

Apocalypse | Annihilates most things in close proximity to the caster. If you're surrounded by monsters and beginning to panic this is the time to use it. Player-friendly spell. |

Lightning |
Casts a web of lightning in all directions from the caster. Damages friend and foe so use cautiously when playing multi-player games. |

Bolt |
Discharges streams of electricity which travel haphazardly move around until striking a wall or an enemy. |

Elemental | A fiery phantom charges at the target exploding into a fireball on impact. |

Fireball | A rapid-fire spell packing a powerful punch. One of the most useful. |

Firebolt | Slow to cast, easy on the mana. You pay for what you get though, this is definitely the poor relation of the Fireball. Sufficient on early levels. |

Firewall | A wall of fire erupts from the ground damaging anything stupid enough to stand in it, including other players. If a level 15 or above firewall has been cast prepare for a long wait until the thing finally dies down. |

Flamewave | Basically a moving firewall, slightly less powerful. Sweeps across a room damaging anything it comes into contact with - that is not resistant to fire of course. |

Flash | Fast to cast and effective within an eight square radius. No use on the undead though and significantly more effective when on a higher level. |

Golem | This stone statue rises from the ground to pound his fists on any unfortunate beast that stands in his way. His Hit Points are relative to the level of the spell & the caster's total mana. |

Guardian | Another top spell. Cast this three headed dragon, and he'll spew high-speed fireballs at any enemy within range. |

Healing | Heals your character. |

Heal Other | Heals other characters. Multiplayer only. |

Holy Bolt | Fires a ball of holy magic. Works only on the undead including Diablo. |

Identify | Reveals the special features of an unidentified object. The same skill as that of cain the elder. |

Inferno | Works best when dealing with a group of enemies as it casts a jet of fire. Not terribly useful on the lower levels. |

Infravision | Allows the caster to see what monsters lurk behind walls and closed doors. |

Lightning | Easier to control than chain lightning. You can specify which enemy this concentrated bolt of electricity is to travel to. Not as powerful as Chain Lightning. |

Mana Shield | Cast this spell on yourself, and any damage received will be taken from your mana first rather than your health. This spell is more effective the higher the level of spell. |

Nova | A blast of lightning radiates from the caster. An extremely powerful spell. |

Phasing | Randomly transports the caster to any spot in sight. Used to get you out of sticky situations, but it could transport you into an even bigger horde of monsters. |

Resurrect | Player comes back to life with 1 HP. Multiplayer only. |

Stone Curse | Turns your target to stone. The time they remain in this state is determined by the level of the spell. |

Telekinesis | Allows manipulation of objects from a distance. It opens doors, chests, pushes monsters back and picks objects up. Handy in for moving levers in hell. |

Teleport | Teleports user to a specified location within view. Use when a pack of monsters have pinned you in. |

Town Portal | Casts a gateway to town from any level of the dungeons. Will last until the caster returns to the dungeons through it. Each player can have only one portal open at any time. |
